Leading specialists from specialized universities and scientific organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan with significant experience in teaching, scientific and industrial activities are involved in teaching. This approach makes it possible to ensure a high level of student training, integrate modern achievements of science and technology into the educational process and form professional competencies among future engineers that are in demand in the labor market.
The faculty of the department is actively involved in the development of educational programs, the publication of scientific papers, the implementation of research projects, the organization of international conferences and the introduction of innovative educational technologies.
 The Department of Hydropower and Energy continues to develop dynamically, strengthening cooperation with industrial enterprises, scientific organizations and foreign educational institutions, providing training for competitive specialists for the energy sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
